Why I Love My Job
(**This picture has NOTHING to do with this post, but it's a good one!)
I LOVE MY JOB BECAUSE....
1. I get paid to watch sports, are you kidding me? Fricken awesome.
2. I get to see 2 ambulances, a police car, and a FIRE TRUCK come when a pinkie is dislocated...and then have them say "yeah, there's nothing we can do for that."
3. I get to see grown men act like little boys (and they ALWAYS do).
4.I love being called ma'am!
5. I get to hear the "well what about Jesus" comment when a guy comes with hair over his ears.
6. I love when a player runs off with a split head, blood everywhere, and people look at me like I'm a doctor because I'm holding a first aid bag with a few bandaids, some gauze, and hand sanitizer (this is actually a very scary moment, one that I hate, and one that I'm apparently not very good at (I generally panic)).
6. I get to see a player pull pennies out of his pockets (lots of them) and "make it rain" after a touchdown (funny, but I wouldn't recommend it, you will get carded).
GO AHEAD...BE JEALOUS.

Toshi goes to Fling
Chelsea asked Toshi to fling because he wasn't going to go. They bypassed the flowers and fluff and went right to the dinner and dance plan. She looked lovely and they had a good time. She is a really nice girl and one of Tim's favorite female swimmers from Fall. Yeah... this is almost a month late....

Who needs disneyland when you have a '92 chevy blazer with 191,000 miles?
As I drove home from las vegas tonight, listening to my ipod (because the radio doesn't work) and holding onto my 44 oz dr. pepper as it teetered in it's 1 inch deep cup holder, I did some thinking.
I pulled over to pop the hood so that I could tap the small box that magically turns the heat on. For the rest of the trip I simply rolled the windows down when I got too hot, knowing that if you try to turn the heat down it turns off and then you have to pull over again to pop the hood.
With the windows down I occasionally catch the scent of burnt carpet and instinctively look back to make sure that the car isn't on fire, again.
As I go up a hill my heart skips a beat when the "check gauges" light comes on and the temperature gauge jumps up to inform me that the car is overheating...but is it? Nah, as I go downhill the light flickers and fades.
Throughout the drive I enjoy a good game of "pot hole, railroad track, or small pebble" about every 30 seconds as the car sharply jostles. The blazer likes making it hard to tell the difference between a michigan pot hole and the smallest piece of a rock.
Exiting the freeway I struggle to decipher how fast I'm going. Anything under 40 mph is a mystery with only half of the dashboard lit.
My ride's been exciting, but think of what it could have been like if I was in the passenger seat, which no longer locks into place, so every stop and acceleration shoots the rider forward and slams you back!
Those of you who drive lolas and BMW's have no idea what you're missing!

Was Cereal On Sale?
So lately Connie and I have been busting some huge sales at the grocery store. Connie asked just the other day, "Are you ashamed of the fact that we only buy things on sale and use so many coupons at the check out?" Heck no!!! Our favorite part is the fact that they print our percent savings on the reciept. It's always worth a high five.
Just last weekend we ventured down to DC to take a further look into the "free" exhibits. It was absolutely a gorgeous day, and we first stopped by the National Air and Space Museum. It was super cool. Connie seemed to enjoy the kid zone more than any other part since there were lots of hands on learning activities. She even butt in front of this cute little kid in order to get a picture in the cockpit (she really didn't butt in front, but did make some kids wait). My favorite part was the cool heat camera they had going.
Then we went over to the Natural History Museum. It was filled w/ tons of cool stuff, and we really got some fun pictures. Connie's always such a good sport when it comes to posing in such quirky ways. We decided to each post our favorite of one another.

Well, we hope to get some more pictures up of our super sweet new car and our up and coming trip to Disney World.
