Toshi goes solo!

Toshi's first jazz solo. He worked all week on making it up and I think it turned out really well. It was at the Marcus Belgrave concert.

EGGS N DINOSAURS

Here is a picture of the Stegosaurus that we just finished. It is pretty big as you see that the top plate is at the level of the roof.
I made some beatiful eggs last night at like 12:00 at night. It was fun. This is a picture of me and Stephanie with our beautiful eggs. One chicken and one Michigan egg.
***Important note: I put on a post of Tad which I started a week ago, so it is below the last 3 most recent posts. Check it out for some swingin' Jazz.

April Conference

Dad and I were able to go to the temple on Thursday during our spring break. We asked someone to take our photo outside. I was impressed with Elder Bednar's talk about those who are active in the church and run occasionally in and out of the temple. I saw myself in that statement and we made an effort to go this week. There were obviously many others who made the same committment as the noon session was full and they had to add 7 or 8 chairs. I hope that each of you will comment on your favorite part of conference so that we all can share our experience.

Trip to Baltimore

Daleene and I made another memorable trip to Baltimore. As usual, we had much to talk about and we didn't run out of chatter all the way there and back. Daleene is not sure she likes the Tom Tom but I found it to be stress relieving as we made our way without incident. This photo is us stopping at Mc Donalds. Daleene was craving some of their cookies which we found they didn't have anywhere in Pennsylvania. This is us finally getting the cookies in Ohio. The other photo is our curtain fix at Taki's house. I gave Taki the wrong dimensions for curtains since I didn't realize they had 3 slider pannels instead of the usual 2- hence an opening on each end was fixed by adding a contrasting pannel which we added during my visit. Taki and Connie were charming hosts as usual and I had a great time visiting little Italy, eating Gelato?? and seeing an inspirational video at Fort Mc Henry.

Family Celebrity

Recently Dad and I went to see Jane in the FHC production of Fiddler on the Roof. It was so enjoyable and Jane did a super job. Here she is in her apron. (I hope I can get the photo right since it was dark).

Well, it doesn't do her justice but you get the idea. We have never seen Fiddler on the Roof done so well. Bravo!!! Jane.
