Holiday review
As all of you know, I am famous for asking everyone to name their favorite part of an activity. I am now calling on everyone to recall one or two of their favorite parts of this holiday season to share with each other. It was way too short for me. It seemed like it was gone in an instant and I can't even remember what we did. So, as a reminder, can everyone comment on their favorite memory of this holiday season. Thanks, Mom

I, of course, loved New Years (even though Michigan blew it.) And Bowling was really fun for me.
Preston liked bowling too, but the Wii may top his list.
I liked making cards too and putting the leaf frames together. We got some GREAT gifts. I loved it all!
And Dad's batch of Pocki (I have NO idea how to spell that)-Totally Delicious!!!
Well, I'll admit that my favorite part was doing the Family History. I was excited to have everyone working with me on Genealogy instead of working alone. I also liked making cards with the girls and meeting Connie. I loved it that Katherine cleaned the house just before everyone came and how helpful everyone was in getting things clean for New years and setting up the Christmas tree and decorations. I just love being together and having everyone get along and support each other. I was glad that there was someone here to wake up with Toshi and keep the tradition alive, which was so important to him. I also loved it that everyone was flexible with sleeping space and nobody complained about sharing rooms and sleeping on the couch. You guys are all great! Love, mom
I loved eating food at New Years and eating Pocki. I also loved getting to spend time with Tim, Kat, Jordan and Kylie. And of course, I loved playing the Wii and kicking trash in bowling.
Poision cookie may be my favorite thing from the break-thanks Taki for getting it together.
I was also happy that we did a lot of projects and played together as a family!
I'm pretty sure everyone know's what my favorite part of the break was. I do agree with Lori though, the poison cookie pretty much was the bomb. And having Connie there, made it that much better.
But I must say that hands down my favorite part of the break was Sunday afternoon going to church with Connie. From the moment we walked into Sacrament meeting hand in hand, I could feel the eyes beginning to drift and the heads beginning to turn our way. I suppose it did help that we were late as usual, but this time, of course, I didn't mind the extra attention.
As I sat down and looked up, the first expression I saw was a slight grin on the face of President Jones. He seemed to give this look of content as he gently nodded his head. Afterwards there were those who came up to meet her, and each one did the same thing. They started with a greeting, then asked about her, then joked about me, and ended with their final thoughts on how pretty much sweet I am.
The entire time I stood to the side just smiling, marveling at how spectacular my girl was. My favorite part would come at the end as we would shake hands. They would look at me and smile, then look at her and smile a little more, and finally turn back to me with this beaming glow of excitment. I loved every moment of it.
wow. I never would have guessed that Taki was THAT excited about church. But I can see how it would be nice to get the ward's attention and approval. Very cool.
