Moms day and a call to action!

So, apparently everyone decided to abandon the blog (so not cool). Actually I think Taki might be dead, so that's a bummer. But for real freakers, get off your duffs and let us know what's going on in your lives!
On a more pleasant note, it will soon be May, which means MOMS day of honor and glory is fast approaching. I've learned that with mom, sometimes it's better to just ask what you want, so if you'd like to post a list that would so totally rock.

OK, that would be great! I would like some new gardening gloves from Annette. I had several pairs but they are all full of holes and beat up. From Taki, I would like a post of our Baltimore visit and Gettysburg etc. From Tim, I would like the top of the pine tree pulled down. I think I could handle the rest. From Lori I would like her to look at some more of the videos if she can stand it and make a videotape of Tad performing with his trumpet. I really miss him. You guys know I already have more junk than I need- so don't buy me anything. Oh, and you know - I don't cook dinner on Mother's Day so It is up to all of you. Love you all. mom

Thanks moms! I actually almost bought you some the other day, but then I was like, "don't we have like a million pairs?!" Guess not. Do you prefer the girlie flowery ones or the thicker ones or the grippie ones? If you don't specify, I'll have to get you one of each :) Preston and I plan to be there that weekend, so hopefully we can help make you something delicious. Any suggestions??

If someone doesn't want to do the work related presents, I would like a nice hanging basket for the front porch (red, pink or purple). I'll have to think about the food items I want. I think dad is making chicken terriyaki and I love that. I'll have to think about what would go with that. About the gloves, I like the cotton ones but they could have leather on one side of the finger or the little grippy bumps. I don't like the real thick or heavy ones that are like work gloves.
