Mothers day dance Tongan style

We taught the primary kids this dance and it was the hit of the night! All the parents were hooting and hollering when the couples had to hold hands. I made all the cummerbunds for the boys and taught Vina how to sew. She sewed all the ties and did pretty good.

There was also a number with 21 of the younger primary and it was so cute but the video is too long. They were all wearing white shirts and yellow lava lavas with flowers in their hair. Most just did whatever with their hands but looked so so cute!

Oh, this was super cute!!! I'm so proud of the cumberbunds. They look great. Some of them need to learn their left and right. Lori, tell them to write it on their hands;)

That is some seriously great seamstress skills! Are these the outfits that you had to make with like 2 days notice?? Turned out great!
