Tussel with Tessa

Tosh has had the job to take care of or neighbor Molly's cat, Tessa, when she leaves town on occasion. Tessa is getting a little old and cranky and hisses at Tosh every time he goes to feed her and clean her litter box. I went with him tonight so that I could catch the hissing in action and post it on the blog. So, she hissed right away but I missed the shot as usual... so I told him to try to pet her again. He refused and went to fill her bowl. Before we left, I talked him into trying again. When we went in the room she started making some low growling noises and Tosh said "I dont' think this is a good idea- she might attack us". Then she started growling and hissing and Tosh said "I am not going to be any part of further provoking this cat" and turned to leave. At this time I was between the cat and the window waiting for my shot and still trying to get Tosh to come back. Just as he left the room, she sprung to her feet and went psycho hissing and rrrraaaaarrrrrooowwing and the 2 of us ran from the house with our tails between our legs. About then I was asking myself "who is the adult here?"

Tessa sounds like the perfect match for squish!

Does anyone else remember peaking out of their room at night, tip toeing out and suddenly seeing the flash of those green eyes, heart starts pounding...decision time...run for the bathroom but then you have to get back to the room afterwards, run back to the room and hold it, or try to keep tip toeing so he doesn't feel threatened. It didn't matter what you chose, it seems like my ankles always got bit regardless....ah....memories....

Just another reason that I can't stand cats. No matter how nice you are to them, they seem to ALWAYS attack.

Yeah, I totally got attacked a few times. One time I felt bad cause I kicked squish across the room cause I was so mad for being attacked. I miss him but somethings I will never miss.
