Speaking of dances....
When I talked with mom about having a party for their 60th birthdays she said that it might be too chaotic around the holiday season with family visiting not only them but all of their friends as well. BUT she did mention something that she would like as a gift from ALL of her children...(get ready for it...)
A SUGIYAMA CHRISTMAS VACATION DANCE OFF!!!
Ah yeah baby you heard me right. Now, those of you who are thinking, "why didn't I just get her an orchid or make her a nice pot holder..." IT'S TOO LATE! This is the only thing mom wants for her 60th birthday so suck it up and start choreographing!
Mother has asked that all couples come up with a short "routine" to perform at the dance off. Lori and Tad can either bust out their solo moves or team up (mom has already put her money on a Lori and Tad combo team taking this thing).
I suggest you all get to work because Preston and I were already testing out some ideas last night...and they were freaking awesome :)

Bring it on baby!!!! Tad doesn't know this, but we are going to do some serious practicing soon. Even if we have to use Skype once he gets home. It's on!!!!!
Yeah.. i heard that Lori had the best cuban movement in her social dance class.
ps. Dad is kicking and screaming but he will also be paricipating.
Annette didn't mention the cash prizes for the best dances.

I find it a bit disconcerting that Aliseyi was able to post on our blog and I haven't been able to because I couldn't negotiate the new system... something wrong with this picture.
I'm just noticing a lack of commenting by taki and connie...come on guys, I've seen you 2 let loose in some silly pictures...and don't worry Tak, no one is judging based on technique or ability to stay on the beat :)

Ha Ha. I love Connie's comment. But the last time I talked to Taki, he said he was excited about it. Tim actually said tonight that he was willing to do it but... just not sure what is expected. Nets told him to go big or go home. I can't wait.
