Ruby Anne Shumway has Arrived!!
After two days and a lot of drama, Ruby is here!!! She is 7 pounds 2 oz and 21 inches long. She was born at 10:26 pm on April 25-Good call Connie. And she is a stubborn little one and so I thought she should've been Ruby Yoshiko. Well that was turned down. But it's really all about the pictures, right?!
Annette looks happy to have Ruby out of her belly! Beautiful mom and baby.

Gotta love the first one. She has sort of a sly little grin. Already taking after her uncle Taki.
Annette and Preston did a great job with this delivery. Preston played the roles of husband, father and doctor really well. Ruby is even more beautiful than the photos reveal! We can only hope that she did not pick up any of Uncle Taki's scampy habits.
