Dad and I and Annette and Preston went to see Jane perform in Footloose. She did a great job in her part as WendyJo.... a ditzy teenager. We had a great time and I caught a few video clips to share with those of you who were not able to attend.
Do it with the video mom!! So tech savvy, you think that some of it would rub off on dad. But alas, not true. Do you remember dad always saying "my bag" I miss that.
I TOTALLY said "my bag" today and it made me smile.
The show was really fun, they did the song, "I need a hero" and these 5 guys come out in uniforms (doctor, fireman, cop, etc...) and they are all surrounded by groups of girls and they just stand there looking all macho and flexing and being tough and I had to lean over to preston and say, "do you think they found the scrawniest boys to do this or are all high school boys that scrawny?" The answer is still up in the air but the song was hilarious and the whole show was a lot of fun.
The cast was HUGE and when they were all on stage it was a little overwhelming, but Jane did awesome!

It should also be noted that for several hours after this event preston and I felt the urge to thrust our fists in the air and shout "yeah!"
