Well, Dad was happy that one of his weather predictions finally actually happened. The Grand Rapids area got 12-20 inches of snow.
It was hard to determine how many inches because of the blowing and drifting that took place because of high winds. Note the difference in snow levels behind Dad and behind Mable. What is behind Dad is exactly what we had to shovel out of the driveway! Not fun.
You can see the final product... with help from a little sunlight... the perfect blacktop driveway is revealed! And Dad is happy.

Are you kidding me! Look at that driveway! PERFECTLY clear. Unbelievable.
Two questions. #1 Dad, why aren't you wearing your earphones and listening to music while you shovel.Duh.
#2 Did you complete your shoveling before the neighbor. Follow-up question...Is our driveway cleaner than the neighbors.
I'd wager "yes" on both accounts.
I don't know about the cleaner driveway part, cause I can see that neighbor busting out the shovel, then trowel, and then broom and "snow" pan.
Truth be told... Phil has a snowblower and he was working it. Dad said that the snow was too deep for the snowblower but we all know the truth... the snowblower doesn't get it spotless like Dad has to have it. At any rate, yes, dad's driveway was cleaner than Phil's but by the time we were finishing, Phil was almost done with OUR sidewalks with his snowblower. But dad started going to meet him because he didn't want Phil to tear up his grass with the snowblower...
